The application and the application process
Alliant Energy is currently accepting applications for the Alliant Energy Hometown Rewards program. To be considered for the Alliant Energy Hometown Rewards program, completed applications must be postmarked no later than June 12, 2009.
The application is available below or you can request a printed copy and information packet by calling 1-866-ALLIANT.

About the application
The application has two parts: a portion to fill in important facts about your community and an essay section. In the essay section, we ask you to answer the following questions:

Selection
The Alliant Energy Hometown Rewards program managers will announce their selection within 6 weeks after the application deadline. Program managers will contact the main contact of the communities selected for participation. A general announcement of communities selected for the program will be made at this Web site and publicized to local media.
