For Alliant Energy's residential electric customers in Minnesota
Old working appliances, like that refrigerator in your garage, may seem convenient. But keeping it around and running can add up to $100 to your yearly energy bill.
If you have a working* refrigerator, freezer or room air conditioner you don't need, give us a call! We'll send a recycling contractor to pick up and dispose of your old appliance properly - and we'll give you a check ($50 for working refrigerators/freezers; $25 for working room air conditioners).
