New Home Construction

New Home Construction

New home construction + energy efficiency = granite countertops. Or wood floors. Or whatever else you hope to sneak onto the construction list when no one else is looking. Because an energy-efficient home gives you wiggle room in the form of lower energy bills. In fact, for every dollar you spend on energy-efficient upgrades, you increase the value of your home by up to $25 (source: The Appraisal Journal). Saving energy never looked so good. .

There are two New Home Construction rebate package options available in Minnesota: the ENERGY STAR qualified home (requires a HERS rating) and the Alliant Energy Builder Option Package (BOP).
