Transfer Services, Inc., based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, provides rail-to-truck transload services to eastern Iowa industries.

Transfer Services' ability to combine the economy of rail transportation with the convenience of truck delivery is a key link for many customers who are not directly served by rail. The result is more convenient transportation at a lower cost.

With lift capabilities up to 25 tons, products handled include appliances, copper cakes, metal coils, rebar, aluminum billets, paper, newsprint, lumber shingles and wallboard.

Transfer Services is served by the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City (CRANDIC) Railway and several area trucking companies.
