E-Community Grinnell Partner

Alliant Energy is proud to partner with Imagine Grinnell to facilitate the E-Community: Grinnell program.

Created in 1985, Imagine Grinnell is a member-based community organization whose primary focus is enhancing the quality of life for the citizens of Grinnell and the surrounding area.

Formerly “The Grinnell 2000 Foundation,” Imagine Grinnell uses its non-profit status and the strength of the Grinnell community to harness donations, government and private grants, and volunteers for a wide variety of community projects.

Imagine Grinnell is a grassroots organization that stimulates initiatives which:

• Improve the quality of life for our people
• Promote a healthy environment
• Complement economic development efforts

The foundation takes pride in identifying initiatives which community members support, but which do not fall under the purview of commercial enterprise or municipal government. In many cases, Imagine Grinnell has bridged that gap – forming and empowering coalitions to implement community improvement projects.
