Doors are one of the biggest openings in your building – which means there is a great opportunity for air leakage and heat transfer. If your doors are old, not properly installed, and/or not properly sealed, they may be unnecessarily inflating your utility bill. With Alliant Energy-IPL’s door rebate, there’s no better time to install energy-efficient doors and reduce your energy usage. Once you have purchased your new door(s), make sure to install new weather stripping around the entire door frame and a door sweep on the bottom.
