Alliant Energy’s two Instant Payment Options give you the convenience of setting up a FREE electronic funds transfer from your checking or savings account. You can pay by telephone or pay online.

Convenient: If you can’t get to a mail box or if you’re almost overdue, try an Instant Online Payment or an Instant Phone Payment. Your payment is immediate - no mail or processing delays.

Savings on postage: With one telephone call or a few clicks of a mouse, your payment is sent.

Time better spent: All you need is five minutes, your utility account number and your bank account number.

To pay by phone, call 1-800-ALLIANT (1-800-255-4268) and follow the simple instructions in the Automated Speech System. Just move through the main menu options to the “Billing” and “Ways to Pay” sections.

Try Instant Online Payment today!

You can access Instant Online Payment today through the Your Account site. All you need to use this option is a recent Alliant Energy utility bill, and the account information for the checking or savings account you’d like to use.

• If you’re already registered, log in to Your Account.
• If you’re new to our free online services, register for Your Account.

Then just follow the simple on-screen instructions.
