E-Community Mount Vernon

The mission of the Mount Vernon E-Community project is to build a sustainable community-based program that will provide a foundation in energy conservation techniques and practices.

The mission for the first year of the Mount Vernon E-Community program will be to build a foundation in understanding the complex systems which allow us to control the environment of our homes, businesses, schools, governmental buildings and places of worship. The project will strive to make clear the vocabulary, techniques and practices of energy delivery systems, focusing on ways to maximize the energy conservation programs already available and capitalize on proven energy efficiency practices.
