How to use Convenience Pay service:
Convenience Pay payments are posted to your account within two business days. If you are paying due to a disconnect notice, call our 24-hour Customer Service Center at 1-800-ALLIANT with your Convenience Pay confirmation number so we can note it on your account. Convenience Pay charges a transaction fee of $1.00 for each transaction, for payments up to $2500, to cover the costs of processing payments. This fee amount will be reflected as a separate charge. About the Convenience Pay transaction fee:Wisconsin Power and Light Company and Interstate Power and Light Company utilize a third party, Western Union, to provide you with the ability to make utility payments by cash, check or money order. The transaction fee is the amount Western Union charges to cover processing fees and transaction costs associated with handling payments. By charging only the customers who use this service, it’s a fair way to pay for this option. Only the customers who choose to use this service will be charged the fee. | |
