No smart thermostat? No problem. With so many solar options, it’s difficult to figure out which one best fits your needs. We want to make it easier. Through our Alliant Energy® Community Solar program, we build, own and operate a dedicated solar garden on behalf of subscribers.
This program allows you to have access to solar energy without the usual headaches:
Subscribers share all project costs. This means you can power your home or business with renewable energy much more affordably.
Participants receive monthly bill credits based on the energy the site produces over the 20-year life of the project. We estimate participants will make back the full cost of their subscription within 12 to 16 years.
