Alliant Energy has partnered with Clinton Community School District on a solar project on district property in Clinton, Iowa. The Royal Solar Field falls under the Alliant Energy® Customer-Hosted Renewables program that allows business and municipal customers lease their land for renewable energy projects. We’ll distribute the clean energy this project generates directly to the community.

Our sustainability goals include eliminating all coal from our generation fleet by 2040 and achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions from our utility operations by 2050.
