Iowa Gas Interruptible Customers:

Current program status: Warning
Update: the current natural gas interruptible warning is set to expire Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
Current updated warning: Due to forecasted cold temperatures, Alliant Energy has issued a WARNING for all Iowa and Wisconsin Natural Gas Interruptible participants beginning Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., ending Saturday, February 22, 2025. Customers who participate in the Natural Gas Interruptible program should be prepared to interrupt their natural gas. If Alliant Energy must interrupt natural gas service, customers will be individually notified. Reminder, this is only a warning of Alliant Energy’s Natural Gas Interruptible program.
To call the Alliant Energy Interruptible Hotline, dial 1-800-241-0588 and follow the prompts to select Iowa or Wisconsin service for the Natural Gas or Electric Interruptible Program.
