Dairy heat reclaimer

A heat reclaimer moves heat from your milk-cooling compressor to the water-heating system. This preheated water reduces demand on your hot water heater.

Requirements:

  • For existing dairy operations only; new construction not eligible.
  • Qualifying units include Century-Therm, FreHeater, Heat Bank, Sunset, Superheater and Therma-Stor.
  • Must have an electric water heater.
  • Existing system does not have heat reclaimer installed.

Important information:

  • Rebate is limited to 50% of equipment purchase price
  • Rebates are based on the average number of cows you are currently milking; Dry cows cannot be counted for rebate.
