With this rate, you will see these charges on your bill each month:
- The demand charge is based on your peak demand during on-peak hours. In winter the rate is $12.63 per kilowatt of on-peak demand. In summer it’s $17.77 per kilowatt of on-peak demand.
Peak demand is the spike in your monthly billing cycle when you use the most energy. If you manage your energy demand throughout the day, you can lower the peaks in your usage. A lower peak means a lower demand charge.
- The energy charge is based on the amount of energy you use.
- The service charge is a daily charge based on the number of days in your billing cycle.
On your bill, we’ll list this rate as 507 - Electric Residential TOD.
